Emily Bett Rickards born July 24, 1991 is an Canadian actor, best known for her role as Felicity Smoak in The CW television series Arrow. Rickards was raised in British Columbia. When she was a kid, Rickards began her journey by exploring musical theater. She then moved on to dancing. Then, she wanted to get into the world of serious acting. Her high school graduation was before her schedule and began studying at the Vancouver Film School where she earned her acting essentials certificate. Following the completion of the course, she attended an open call audition and was able to get her an agent. Alida Vocal Studio taught her.
