Christina Milian has been a popular R&B singer for many years. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey on 26th September 1981. R&B & pop singer with her debut single in 2001 A.M.to P.M. reached the UK Singles Top 3 Chart. In 2003, she scored her first role in the mainstream as the lead actress in the comedy Love Don't Cost a Dime starring teen actors. The film she was in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past starring Jennifer Garner. She took an unplanned break from music to make Bring It On: Fight to the Finish. Milian's return to the music industry was centered around promoting Us Against the World, and she shot her music videos. Milian admitted that, since that point she was more cautious about the songs she picked to make the album. Songs for the album include the Madonna-esque ballad of the 90s Euro club album Tug of War as well as the feel-good Diamonds track with Kanye. Pitbull and Rick Ross also appeared on Blissful the track, which was recorded by Cool & Dre. Milian was in Be Cool with John Travolta, Uma Thurman. She recorded two tracks on the album. The role she played as the principal character in Scream and in the TV show Friends has made her an international star. In her early years she began to be interested in acting. She was a student of architectural studies at the time in Washington DC at Mount Vernon College and then decided to drop her studies in order to take on a career in acting. Her debut performance was Down Twisted. The film earned her fame because she played one of her best roles in Scream. It was extremely successful commercially and earned around eleven times the budget. The critics also praised the film. The three sequels to the show in which she was a part-time actress, she played the same character. Following her role as the main character in Friends - a hit sitcom - her fame soared. She was awarded and nominated numerous times. The show, which became hugely popular, was shown on television for 10 years. The most recent of her works has been a part-time role in the drama movie Mothers and Daughters. The film won her the TV Guide Award as a consequence of her role in Friends. The Golden Derby Award was also presented to her for the role she played in Cougartown.
